Anita
Blewett
Anita
Blewett was born in New Underwood, SD, east of Rapid City and has lived
in the area most of her life. Anita became a believer at an early age
under the guidance of her parents. She attended college at SDSU and
Black Hills State University where she majored in Elementary Education.
Anita met her husband Don at BHSU and
they were married in 1957. Don passed away in the fall of 2004. Don
and Anita had 2 children. Both children still live in the area.
Anita
came to work at CLM in 1997 as the front office receptionist. Before
coming to work at CLM, Anita worked in retail sales, banking and
was the receptionist at a local radio station for 10 years.
Anita
loves her work at CLM as she gets to watch first hand many of God's
blessings toward those who come into the office as hurt, broken people
and leave alive with the life of Christ. Local church involvement
has been one of Anita's passions. She has served as head of women’s
ministries, women’s conference demonstrator and
speaker and is currently serving as Sunday School Superintendent.
At
this time, Anita’s main ministry is to her extended family. Her
parents (ages 93 and 94) are still living and she loves spending time
with her children and their families. Spending time in God’s
Word has always been a favorite past time for Anita and her key verses
are Eph 2:8 and Phil 4:13.
