Connie
Karn
Connie
was born and raised in Rapid Cit, SD. While attending college at Black
Hills State University, she met and married Pat Karn. To this union three
children were born. For the next twelve years Connie was dedicated to
being a stay-at-home mom and wife. While raising her children, Connie
was involved in starting two MOPS programs, leading numerous ladies'
bible studies, speaking at ladies' conferences and supporting her husband
Pat in his ministry.
Connie came to work at CLM in 1993 as a member
of the office staff. In 1995 she took the position as office manager
and Lay Counseling Course Supervisor. During the next 5 years, she
also completed all four levels of counselor training through CLM and
became a counseling partner with her husband Pat.
The year 2005 found
Connie in a new situation. All three children had married and now she
was a grandmother. God was also redirecting her as to how she should
fill her days. During this time, Connie stepped down as Office Manager
and wanted more time for family. God provided an avenue for a more
flexible schedule by drawing Connie's heart into more time in the counseling
office for counselor support as well as one-on-one counseling.
She
has also traveled with husband Pat on four Rapid Response trips with
the Billy Graham Association. Connie and Pat love living in the Black
Hills area and the closest thing to their hearts has always been to
spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to whoever has ears to hear. |
