Bill and Nancy Ewing

Bill and Nancy were born and raised in South Dakota. Bill met His Savior at the age of 16 at a David Wilkerson Crusade and has passionately pursued that relationship ever since. Bill and Nancy continued their education and Bill, his baseball career, at the University of Wyoming, where they were also very much involved in campus ministry. Bill and Nancy were married in 1975 and began their professional baseball travels. Bill earned a B.A. in Criminal Law and Psychology the following year. After a career-ending injury Bill began his study of Biblical Counseling through the Master’s Degree program through the Oklahoma City Branch of the International School of Theology.

In 1981 Bill and Nancy followed God’s lead to Rapid City to be closer to family and to found Christian Life Ministries. God immediately brought wonderful people along side them to establish, help fund, and provide prayer support for CLM. God has faithfully brought hurting people day after day, year after year.

Along with counseling, Bill & Nancy developed a Lay Counseling Training course for biblical counselors, laymen, professional counselors, health professionals and pastors. Bill also co-founded and served as a board member for seven years for the International Association of Biblical Counselors and is currently a member of Exchanged Life Biblical Counselors.

Bill was ordained as a pastor in 1996 through the Evangelical Church Alliance, Bradley, IL. Bill continues to counsel and teach at CLM, although the Lord has brought more and more traveling opportunities. He has participated in many seminars sponsored by such organizations as the Billy Graham Association, the United States Air Force, Athletes inAction, Campus Crusade for Christ and various churches throughout the world.

Bill has co-authored two books, Rest Assured, and Living by Design. In both, his passion for his Lord and for people to know his Lord is apparent. The Ewings are happy to have all their children and grand children living in Rapid City, SD.
