Struggling through life without knowing godly principles is like walking in the dark without a flashlight. Giving people a flashlight is my joy. I love to see hope spark to life in the eyes of people who begin to see that change is possible and life can be abundant. In all that I have done and do, this has been and is my greatest motivation.
Jim, my husband, and I met while attending Black Hills State Univerity and have been married for 39 years. During these years we raised four children, experienced career changes and have faced many challenging times. Through good and difficult times we have learned to to love and respect each other deeply. For this we are eternally thankful. Because of God's strength, freedom, and wisdom I have learned about joy and not just happiness, contentment and not just success and the benefits of committed relationships.
Through my past experiences as the western division service extension director for the Salvation Army, executive director of the Nebraska Family Council, director of Voice of Informed Parents, campaign manager and volunteer coordinator for various public offices, a volunteer in community and church ministries, and presently as a small business co-owner and manager I have had exposure to a variety of issues that arise in relationships. I am grateful that through my training at CLM God has better equiped me to walk along side those that are losing hope, weary, and intimidated by life's circumstances.
Ministry verse: "The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. Isaiah 58:10
