Leone Young

Leone is a native of the South Dakota and enjoys living in the Midwest, especially the beautiful Black Hills area. She attended the University of South Dakota and graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program there. She then practiced as a dental hygienist in two states and taught at the Des Moines Area Community College in their Department of Dental Hygiene for 9 years. During this time, Leone invited Christ into her life as an adult and as a result of her mother’s kind witness.Leone has been involved in Christian Life Ministries since 1987. She initially began as a volunteer and eventually became the Office Manager. Her experience in education aided her in assisting with the development of the Lay Counseling Classes. She initiated the Lay Correspondence Course for participants in outlying areas who were unable to attend the classes in Rapid City.

Leone became a counselor at CLM and is a licensed minister through Christ Community Ministries in Sioux Falls. She also participates in the training program at CLM, which prepares others for their counseling ministry. She has been involved in a wide variety of activities and projects that CLM sponsors. Currently, Leone is serving CLM in the Office Manager position. She especially enjoys equipping others to serve the Lord and supporting the counselors at CLM in their work of helping others to serve the Lord and supporting the counselors at CLM in their work of helping others realize the amazing grace, peace and love of the Lord.
