Penny Carda

Penny was born and raised in Sioux Falls SD. In 1980 she moved to Rapid City. Shortly after, she met her husband Mark and they married in 1985. They have two children.

Penny is one of the CLM office receptionists.
Penny was first introduced to CLM as a client. After experiencing tremendous healing in her life, she began walking alongside others as God worked in their lives. While volunteering at CLM, she taught bible studies, discipled one on one, assisted counselors as a ”sit- in" and worked in the front office. During this time, she also completed all levels of counselor training. Penny returned to work at CLM spring of 2006.While Penny’s children were small, she took several years away from CLM ministry. While at home, Penny concentrated on her duties as mother and wife. Penny gives much credit to CLM’s teaching for where she is today. Her greatest ministry is to her husband Mark and children.

Penny has incorporated what she has learned at CLM by ministering in her church body. She has been chairman of Women’s ministries since 2000, teaches women’s bible studies, serves as women’s retreat committee head and is chairman of the yearly couples retreat. She loves encouraging and discipling women in their walk with the Lord. Penny’s life verses are: Matt 6:33, Luke 9:23 and John 15:5
